When Beata Klein moved to Vanderhoof for work, owning a business had not crossed her mind. When the opportunity arose, Beata purchased the already-established business and has never looked back. Vanderhoof life has several advantages, Beata says, one of which is the fact that it's "small enough to know a lot of people." This has helped her business greatly, since people who like the wine at Bacchus Vine Creations tend to tell their friends. Beata notes that even people from other communities come in to make or buy wine because of word-of-mouth. For that, Beata, is grateful to her loyal customers.

Beata has a special place in her heart for people struggling with illness. She gives to Children's Hospital, the Heart and Lung Association and has even fund-raised for individuals facing illnesses. Beata enjoys the flexibility that running her own business provides her and adds that her customers are very understanding when she has to take days off of work. Beata spends a lot of her time in her store, but outside of work she likes to relax by doing knitting projects.
