Omineca Glass Services (2012) Ltd.

Collin and Jenny Hague became first-time business owners when they purchased Omineca Glass Services in 2012. Collin, who oversees the shop operations and acts as the main technician, was looking for a career change several years ago and decided to apprenticeship as a glazier. He soon discovered that he enjoyed working with glass and found himself thinking of how he would do things if he had his own shop. He and wife Jenny took this as a sign to move into business ownership, and they’ve been enjoying it ever since.

Jenny takes care of much of the administration and paperwork for the business, and even though running a business has its unique challenges, they feel the rewards are well worth the effort. They feel blessed to have a highly professional, skilled and committed staff whom they consider to be like extended family members.

Both Collin and Jenny are deeply tied to the community, having lived here for most of their lives. They feel Vanderhoof is a wonderful place to raise a family. It’s a safe community with many recreational and social opportunities. They love to spend time outdoors whenever they can on family camping and day trips to enjoy the natural scenery of the area.
