The Carlton’s have been in Vanderhoof for a quarter century and note that it is a wonderful place to raise a family. It's why they decided to become entrepreneurs when the opportunity to purchase their business came along.
The Carlton’s are proud of the quality and variety of their products and believe that their inventory and their prices are competitive with those of stores in bigger cities. They admit that it's a challenge to try to change people's perception about small town stores but Wayne and Jodie are encouraged by their many repeat customers who rave about what they find in the store.
Wayne and Jodie are deeply supportive of the community that has always been quick to support them. They regularly give to local schools, groups and events, including Ididalap4cancer.
