Streamline Signs owners, Wayne and Tina Funk, enjoy the creative challenges involved in producing a product that exceeds customers’ expectations, and that’s on top of all the day-to-day tasks that are a part of small town business ownership. Although they say, the people of Vanderhoof make their work worth doing well.
Streamline Signs has been a fixture in the Vanderhoof community for nearly two decades, and the Funk’s have owned the business for almost half those years. Streamline Signs produces high-quality signs in a variety of materials. The Funk’s always get a little thrill out of seeing a sign that they made while driving around Vanderhoof.

Streamline Signs owner and manager, Wayne Funk, admits that when you operate a small town business, "Life is never boring!" No two days are ever alike, and you can never be sure what's coming next. What Wayne and his wife and business partner, Tina, love most about Vanderhoof is that when it comes down to doing business and living life, the people are what make up this tight-knit community.
Wayne and Tina purchased Streamline Signs in 2004 and have worked hard to keep up with the ever-changing market. This means constantly checking out emerging products and adapting and adopting new printing and manufacturing technologies. The Funk’s are grateful to the people of Vanderhoof for allowing them the opportunity to make their business both sustainable and successful over the last decade.
Wayne and Tina keep busy, both in the store and at home. Wayne is an avid hockey fan and loves both watching and playing the sport, while Tina enjoys unwinding in her garden. Both Wayne and Tina love spending time with their children, playing outdoors or catching a movie at the Grand Reo Theatre. The family is also active in the community, and the Funk’s regularly give to local groups, particularly sporting and children's organizations.
