Thanks to the support of the residents of Vanderhoof, owner, Lana Thomson, was recently able to expand her spa business, moving from her home to a new facility. The move has enabled her to offer a wider variety of services and products. The Spa Renewal Package, which includes a pedicure, mini manicure and Eminence facial is a customer favourite, and Lana hopes to introduce more new services and packages over the coming years.

Lana Thomson admits that there are challenges to running Wish Day Spa, but they are challenges worth meeting because the rewards of Vanderhoof business ownership are so great. Lana adds that the people who live in Vanderhoof are a privilege to serve.
Lana began her spa business in her home, and her services were so well-received by the locals that within three and a half years she was able to expand and open a commercial facility. Wish Day Spa offers a variety of treatments, including pedicures, manicures, facials, waxing and tinting as well as a number of packages. Lana also carries several Eminence Organic Skincare products for retail purchase.
Running a small business says Lana, takes a lot of time and dedication. When she is able to get away for a break, Lana loves spending time with her family and friends. Lana is grateful to the community for its support so she gives back when she can by donating to local groups and events, which in the past has included FindMaddy, Children's Theatre and numerous local schools.
